For the academic year 2011-2012, the 2nd year of the Master degree
consists a single option essentially adapted for students preparing the
french exam
«
Agrégation
», which gives also a solid training in advanced mathematics for
students who wish to pursue doctoral studies.
Concerning research themes for the academic year 2011-2012, there will be a focus on
«
algebraic geometry
»
Each student will follow the 4 mathematical courses in the first semester and the module PMCL
in both semesters. The thesis in the second semester will be supervised by a member of the « Laboratoire de Mathématiques et
Applications » among research themes of our laboratory. Note that for french students taking the
« Agrégation » exam, this can be replaced by an internship in a french educational institution.
